Be careful, goof

Be careful with what you wish, you may get just what you want... And sometimes it's awesome! I have no idea why I am writing this post in English, there's no reason, but as I said this weekend, I think the English Language makes it easier to express what we wanna say. I'm not sure why, but it just sounds better for some situations. Even though I just said that, no English word or sentence could be better than what is below!

Penguins, montanha-russa e as notas de corte!

O título desse post dava o nome de um livro de filosofia no qual se analisa o sentido da vida relacionando coisas que aparentemente não se relacionam, mas eu não pretendo ir tão longe assim. Estas três palavras definiram meu fim de semana entre 3:29 às 22:02 de domingo.

Penguins são animais monogâmicos, assim como araras e algumas baleias, a montanha-russa pode ser substituída por um iô-iô, desde que o up and down continue intacto e eu descobri que as notas de corte podem satisfazer mais que straight A's...

E, claro, não podia faltar a trilha sonora!

Hoje mais cedo enquanto ouvia Breakeven voltando da faculdade, me veio uma ideia: como descrever o curso natural de um relacionamento (início, meio e fim) só com músicas? Será que existe uma teoria geral das relações? A partir disso eu pedi auxílio aos universitários e mandei mensagens aos meus amigos com a pergunta: qual é a música que representa o momento em que você percebe que está gostando de alguém? Depois de receber as respostas e adicionar também as músicas que eu considero adequadas, segue o resultado final! Ah, e, já que a ideia era brincar com a situação, me excedi um pouco e nomeei as fases que casavam bem com as músicas!

Don't Speak

A versão de Glee pra essa música foi um dos melhores trabalhos da série. O encaixe da música com a cena e o contexto, somado à interpretação da música pelos personagens fez com que essa cena seja, provavelmente, a minha favorita do seriado. Eu, antes da versão da série, nunca tinha prestado atenção na letra da música ou ao que ela significava e, uma vez que passei a reparar, percebo que ela faz extremo sentido pra quem já passou por isso. Mentira, acabei de ser informado que já mandei essa música pra alguém quando tinha 16 anos falando que era essa a forma que eu me sentia.

É difícil. A vontade é de abraçar a pessoa e deitar, adiando a conversa, evitando ouvir e, num último momento, fingir que tudo está bem, que nada mudou.
